It's the 4th of July and I woke up depressed. I remember being proud when I saw our flag go by, holding my hand over my heart, or while serving my country, saluting. I can no longer be a proud American because of the depths of depravity that this corrupt administration has taken us.

Reminiscent of Edward R. Murrow standing up to Joe McCarthy when McCarthy subverted America, Keith Obermann, showing the anger that I and many of you feel, stands up for the country and gives us a voice. May this be the turning point.

What if Libby Was Black or Mentally Retarded?

Bush refused to commute the sentence of a poor, black, mentally handicapped man with the an IQ of 60 that functioned at the level of a 7 year old. That's Bush's justice.

Bush Lets Libby Walk

No surprise here. In stead of acting on his "promise", Bush has stonewalled and now commutted the sentence of the only person linked in any way to the crime of outing an undercover CIA operative.

The leak

I think this goes all the way up to Rove and Cheney. I don't think Bush knew about it, I don't think he knows much of anything. 7-9 days and he's gone!!
